it's now Cover Oregon

They left a message with a number to call back: 1-877-222-2346 and claim to be the Oregon Dept. of Revenue "Other Accounts".  They wanted my ss# over the phone when I called back.  Sketchy. Didn't give them the number. I owe an Oregon college $650 and they said that's what the call is about.  Told them I just declared bankruptcy and they said nevermind, the debt will supposedly bounce back to the college.  Still sketchy.  Don't give out your ss# over the phone to a cold caller.

It is an outbound DHS number. When I called it back, it said no longer in use, etc. When I called counselor back she said she had called. I've seen this # before and got same no longer in use message.

My corrected statement should say "outbound Sate of Oregon #" and can be used by department.
