i have gotten calls  dont know this #

I received a call from this number today and I called them back. The person on the line asked if I was ____ and I said yes. He said that they were wanting to give me an auto insurance quote and asked if I had auto insurance. I said yes. He asked how long I'd had it for, and I said why do you need that information? The person said, "I want to provide you with the best auto insurance quote." I didn't respond. He asked again, "How long have you had your insurance company?" I said, "Why do you need to know that information?" He said, "Are you sure you can hear me okay or did you not understand the first 2 times I told you? I'm trying to provide you with the best quote..." blah blah.

Well, at this point I just let him have it. I basically ripped him new one saying that he doesn't need to call me and be snappy about the fact that I don't want to give out any personal information - but he might have better luck with someone else who is willing to give out personal information. He said thank you and goodbye. WEIRD!

I received two calls from them today. They left no msg. Since I didn't recognise the no. I didn't answer. Based on what I just read of the comments here, I won't in the future, either. I am on the Do Not Call list too nor have I asked anyone for an Insurance quote.

Got a call from this number asking for my freshman niece.

Same experience as above. Received multiple calls in the same day from this number and no messages. When I returned the call it was answered "LCM this is Candy".
