Automated phone call asking for your debt card number if you did not want to cancel. Bad news.

Automated number asking for debit card number.  Says my debit card has been deactivated.  So sad that some folks will actually fall for this and get swindled.  I really hate thieves.

Automated number stated my credit card was temporary deactivated. press 1 to reactivate. No credit card companies know my cell phone number. I just let the message run out the time and hanged up. I will call my wireless service to find out how my cell phone number ends up to telemarketing or some kind of criminal hands.

Same as Erica G.  ........   Automated number asking for debit card number.  Said my debit card has been deactivated.  Press 1 to reactivate.   Press 2 to hang up.  So I pressed 2 and it just repeated itself.  So I pressed 2 again and it just repeated itself.  I think it wanted me to press1 for some reason.  Anyways, I just hung up.   I'm sure it was some kind of SCAM.....   And my cell phone # is private.  I don't give my # out to anyone except family and friends.

Got one of these this weekend.  Didn't even identify themselves as any particular bank.  Pretty lazy scam...
