random telemarketing company calls me all the time asking for the same person who was likely the last person who had this number. as soon as I tell them it's not me, they hang up without a second thought. extremely rude.

Incessant calling and will hang up when we tell them they have the wrong number (no acknowledgement that they made a mistake) and they will not take our calls when we call them back to clarify.
