Caller ID showed up as Camden SC. The caller claimed that he wanted to order 3 Magnum MS4024PAE Inverters. These inverters run roughly $2500 a piece. While we do sell these inverters, we don't keep 3 of them in stock. The caller had a very heavy accent and stated that his name was James. Thankfully it was the co-owner (my wife) and not our secretary who answered this scam call. My wife knew better than to fall for this crap, and lead the caller on claiming that she needed to get prices, availability, etc. He called back twice and she kept dangling the hook recording everything he said. We'll be contacting the actual Crown Energy company's legal division, the FCC, the FTC, the Attorney General's Office, as well as Microsoft, as the email he is using is : Sales.Crownenergy@outlook.com. We have since blocked all of the above numbers from being able to call us again.
