Is this non-profit organization a genuine one, or is it scam. thanks.

Just got a call (one of many) from this number.  They may be legitimate but, in my opinion, I would not answer.  Most of these "non-profit" organizations solicit through a third party and only part of your donation actually goes to the organization.  I no longer contribute via phone solicitation but instead make my donations locally.

For the last week I've been getting calls from 540-423-6839 which I don't answer and they never leave a message. Preventive action has been taken.

Called at 0815 this morning.  No message.  Has called before.  I don't answer if I don't know the number.  Annoying.

Makeemba.  What "preventative action" did you take?
