Caller ID showed 'Roanoke Valley'
Spoke to someone stating that they were with the Firefighters Association (something related to Roanoke Valley Firefighters)... stated they are having fundraiser in November 2010 and was trying to sell tickets at $25/person. Mentioned a couple of singers that are supposedly going to be singing at fundraiser and fundraiser about burns, children, etc. Stated a few times it was a non-profit organization. I told him I wasn't going to commit to anything over the phone and to send me info. He didn't ask for address but said he'd send it. He did ask me if my number was correct and stated the number to me. Unsure if legit. I tried to call back a little while later just to see if anyone would answer. Did not the first time, the second time was busy. BTW-had my name incorrect, which is the same name that comes in on a lot of my junk mail.
