received a phone call from Daniel Johnson sayinghe was an IRS agent in collection Dept and I needed to send him 1000. by friday. He told me if I didnt my husband would go to jail for 3 years, then the bill would be paid off.  if not send him money I had to call him directly and then he would transfer me to aacount dept to take my money with credit card over the phone.

I called the IRS they said my account was fine do not send them anything.

Also received a call from telephone # 530-334-8169 didnt take the call but message said that i could not let pass today without calling it was a serious matter concerning an account with the IRS.
His name left was James Watson. I knew it was a stupid call and decided to do a search for the # and ran into complaints similiar to the same thing.

I have been getting this call for several weeks and I always ignore it.  How do I get them to stop calling?  I know it is a scam because they change the message everytime they call.

Let them know you are aware they are running an extortion scam, your phone lines are being tapped and you have alerted the authorities.
