He left me a voice mail and I had to listen to it three times before I could understand what he was saying.  He gave his names as Mark Edwards.  I would just love to scam him back.......

I received a message from 434-481-2006 on my voicemail. A woman's voice asked me me to call 209-349-4683 with no further explanation. A Google search of the 4344812006 number calling me says it's Veronique Leonvil, a Real Estate Agent with All Homes Realty in Fort Lauderdale FL. I then did a second Google search of 2093494683, the number Veronique told me to call. The Google search revealed phone number 209-349-4683 as a fake SCAM # purporting to be from the Publishers Clearing House.

We had received a phone call at 11 am today from a person supposedly from YMAX Communication Corp. out of San Fransisco. The man who called had a very heavy middle eastern accent, and was hard to understand. The man said his name was Michael Morgan, and that he is an IRS representative. He claimed that my parents had a discrepancy in their income taxes, and if nothing was done about it, they would take legal action against them. He also claimed that we had received two certified letters in the mail, and when no one was there to receive the letter, a note was left in the box. Which, we get our mail everyday, and never saw a thing. He then proceeded to say that we could be arrested, sentenced to 5 years of jail time, and have future issues with SS and insurance benefits. We told him out was bs, and they immediately hung up. I forgot the number, but it began with 415.

A guy with a thick Indian/Pakistani accent called us while we were rushing out the door to beat Monday traffic at 7:00 AM. Told us have a "charge" on our IRS "balance" and we should call this "Mike Anderson" at 530-876-6477 for further information and to sort out this "issue." When asked why the "IRS" is calling us on the phone as opposed to sending us a letter, he backtracked and did the "I don't know about any of that. Just call Mike Anderson and he will be able to confirm." The caller identified himself as "Ronnie Cannon" and gave us an "IR Badge ID Number 5489." Ugh! I hope these people get what's coming to them, and quick!

Received a call at 8:29 AM on 2/1/14, did not leave message.

Received another call at 7:12 AM on 2/3/14.  This time the person with the extremely thick (could barely understand) Indian accent, left a message for the Indian person who has not had this number for at least 5 years.  He claimed his name was Alex Marshall (yeah that's believable) from the IRS and that the person or their retained attorney were to call him at 530.208.0698 the second they received the message.  He further stated the issue at hand is extremely urgent and don't try to disregard this or legal action will be taken (LOL).
