This number called our business today at 0920 hours. Caller ID said, "Tucson AZ" so I knew it was very likely a scam artist or spammer. I picked up the phone but said nothing. The call quickly disconnected. Additional research shows that it's a VoIP number, that favorite tool of scam artists world-wide and others report it is a spammer/scammer. For the heck of it, I blocked my number and called it back. I immediately got a message saying that the line wouldn't accept calls from blocked numbers, that I'd have to unblock my number and try again. Yeah, that ain't happening. But at least I know blocking my number works for scam artists and spammers. It looks like the phone number may have been (or still is) some locksmith, but that means nothing. The number is likely from overseas, thus doesn't show the full number, and/or it's spoofed.
