Received a call from this number trying to start a conversation about my Prescription plan.  I asked if they were Anthem, she said no.  I told her I did not have time.  We politely hung up.

Called my elderly mother asking all kinds of intrusive qs about her meds. SCAM!

Said they were with the UAW and Express Scripts and wanted to go over my medications. Do I have a moment?  I said I was at the Sheriff's Office and they hung up!

The left robo messages on my 86 year old mothers phone every day saying they were from the medical management center.  I called them back at 844-866-3730 and asked them who they were and why they don't use their company name.  They said they represented medicare.  I told them to remove her phone number from the list but they said they couldn't do it by phone number and ASKED ME FOR HER NAME AND BIRTHDATE.  Wow!!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
