'Nat'(?) called today from 'Corey Hicks & Associates' asked for the boss by name. I asked what it was in reference to, and he said: 'Although I'd love to discuss this with you because you are on the phone, I 'd like to speak with (boss' name) directly. Does SHE have voice mail?'  THE BOSS IS A MALE, so I knew it was a scam. I answered, "If you don't tell me what it's in reference to, you won't get through." And I hung up the phone.

HE CALLED BACK and said, "Is that how you act when you don't get your way?"
I HUNG UP AGAIN.

I recognized the firm's name from prior disrespectful pigs who have called in the past.

Endless harassing phone calls from this number and also 520-731-6226 (and also private/private, and once even from a Walgreens).... some collection agency, NOT trying to collect from me (we owe nothing to anybody) but rather trying to get my company's business... can you believe?  Call after call, hangups, insults, profanity, you name it.  Have called the regulatory agency in Arizona, but would have to put my name/address/number on the forms.  What a world, sometimes.

Just got a call from Mr. DeCraig from 520-731-6628. He said he was filing a lawsuite against me for some company I have never heard of, in an industry I have never worked in. He had my name, my parents P.O. box, my phone number. He said I worked for a company, that I have never heard of, at an address I wasn't familiar with. He gave me a nuber to reach him at 520-290-2600 ex.26  Either someone has pulled name fraud on me or this collector is going way out there, fishing for information on someone with my name.

Got the same call from Mr. DeGraig (or whatever his name is) who left a long rambling message about how he was going to file a lawsuit and name me and a couple of other people at a company I once worked for. I know for a fact that my former company owes no such debt. The guy also mis-represented himself as an attorney, when he clearly was not, and claimed to have captured my caller ID when I know I was calling from a blocked number. I had it out with him about the legality of making false threats, claiming to be an attorney, and attempting to collect a non-existant debt, which are all violations of the Fair Credit Reporting and Debt Collections Practices Acts. I'm saving his voicemail as evidence in case we or anyone else has further problems with this clown.

These guys are crooks and need to be put out of business. If they have contacted you in an attempt to collect a false debt, please call the FTC hotline to file a complaint at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).
