I received a call at approximately 10:15 AM and the person only spoke a rude and crude dialect of Spanish, demanding that I listen to him. My Spanish is very poor but it appeared that he wanted money for some reason. I could not make out his total demands, therefore I hung up and called the authorities.

scam, my wife received a call saying they have her sister in the US and that they need money in order to bring her home. thankfully her sister called home half an hour later to say hi and when my wife asked her about it she said she had no knowledge of such thing.
