Got the same message at 1:30am.  Saw a report of ABC15 News in Phoenix so new it was a scam.  Although my text message was the same as the ones above, the one on the news report was slightly different and not the same "account".  Still I had to check my accounts just to make sure I did not have one starting with 4039.  I agree, no bank would text you and they would not use the first 4 digits.

Did not call the number but looked it up and it was identified as a land line in Nogales, AZ.

We need to get the word out to all the unsuspecting victims not to fall for these scams.

Received a text message saying my card starting with 4039 has had a temporary hold placed on it, I do not have a card with with these starting numbers. Sounds to me like a phishing attempt. Asked me to call 520-223-8265. Do not fall for it, No credit card company or affiliate will ever text you with this type of message,

I received a text from info@vzwpix.com "notice - ALL ACCESS - Your card starting with 4039 has a temporary hold. Please call 520-223-8265.   Message received on 7/24/10 at @ 6:15 pm.  I don't get text messages from the bank, so this is spam and/or phishing.

Got the all access message for card starting with 4039. No such card and they usually use last 4 digit. Also have no alltel account (they were taken over by verizon). I called the number and it asked for my 16 digit card numger to activate the card. duhh... i don't have one.
No loss but now they have my home phone number via caller id.
Must be careful.
