Medicare insurance telemarketer. Caller ID says "BETTERSOLUTIONS". I answered and said "Hello" a couple of times before a real person responded. Then they hung up on me when I said "Hello" again. Strange.

I called Humana yesterday and asked the agent about all these calls I am receiving.  He said it was against Medicare rules for agents to cold call and it was against rules to sign someone up and get payment information (like your checking account no) at the same time.  The last may be a Humana rule and not Medicare.  That's exactly what these types of callers do, they tell you they picked the best plan for you, and you can continue shopping for a plan but to lock in a price give us your bank routing number.  Of course they may not be agents at all, just identity thieves.

BigDaddy above is exactly correct. These creeps are breaking Medicare rules by cold calling and soliciting for clients. They are also in violation of DNC. I'm not going to do business with any company whose first contact with me is to break the law. There are lots of scum, frauds, and cons in this business. Beware!
