Heavy foreign accent. Caller ID shows Thomas Hunt, person says On Line Legal Services. Spoofing, phishing, scamming. Another group of bogus bottom feeders. They call constantly. Hard to bring charges against them because they can not be found. Avoid this serious threat.

I'm receiving calls from 518-784-3584. Called ID says Hunt Thomas (of course it'd be a fake name). I never answer. "He" never leaves a message. My # must've gotten on one of those lists that are sold to telemarketers. It's a new number, so they didn't waste any time.

This number just called me. Spoke heavily accented English. Claimed malicious activity was coming from my computer because it was hacked. Wanted to remote access my PC to "fix" it. What they really do is install one of those free boosters along with programs that log keystrokes and send them to the scammer. They're trying for banking numbers and such. If you grant them access then remove it, the person calls back screaming and swearing. Luckily my PC has been down since March so I caught them out. I know what they do because my brother in law fell for it. Fortunately his wife called me because it seemed fishy, so I told them to cut the modem and I fixed their PC, so I know how they act and what they put on your computer.

I just got a new landline phone in Nevada.  Got call from 518-784-3584, caller ID said "Thomas Hunt."  Man had accent that sounded Indian or southeast Asian to me.  Addressed me by name and said I had downloaded malicious software to my computer.  I am a computer professional and I know that no such thing happened.  Told him I knew he was a scam, that I was reporting him, and that I was hanging up.  Filed a complaint with the FTC with full details, but who knows if they can or will do anything.

Says they need to fix Windows problem. Scam don't have a Windows computer
