Cardworks servicing is trying to collect the debts.

Received a Voice Message from Miriam calling from Card Works. She wanted to speak to someone regarding credit card purchases.  Miriam asked someone to call 516-576-0404, Extension #2636.

They said they were from a debt agency. I asked what sort of debt agency. She said she'd tell me after I confirmed some personal information. After I said she'd have to tell me who she was first, she hung up. I suspect they are involved not in debts but in identity theft if she wanted information and would not tell me who was calling.

I received a voice mail on both my cell and landline phone.  From 516-576-0404 Cardworks, as it showed up on my callerid.  But, the woman caller said she was from my bank,  She named the bank...which is alarming... asking me about recent activity on my credit card. to call an 866-978-1520   I called my bank and nobody made such a call.  It probably is what is called Fishing.  Trying to get my bank account info. I'm thankful I didn't call the 866 number.

The number 516-576-0404 called me at 5:44pm on the 24th of September 2015 and as soon as I answered, they hung up.
