It's a fraud.  The IRS does not call you.  Instead, they send a letter first, and make an appointment.  In addition, they will also inform you of the reason for their contact.  With reference to a Tax Report Period filed.  If the IRS makes
changes to your figures, they are obligated to inform you, under law!  You then have (30) days from date of notice, to acknowledged your wish to appeal, or object to their changes.  You must however, state your reasons
then and attach any evidence to your allegation or counter claim?  In either case, ensure you attach a copy to your "written correspondence" to the IRS, and send it via Certified Return Receipt!  Ensure also you make complete
copies for your personal records!  You'll find out the reasons later.  In either case, the people at (516)453-6962 are phonies and just plain Marketeers.

Thanks for the information to turn these jerks in to the FCC.  I just received another call from them.  I'm sick of it!  As others have said, pushing "3" doesn't work, telling them to take your name off the list doesn't work.

This jerk keeps calling and I think it is mortgage but not sure. I want to make them staop but don't know how. Anyone know how and have them pay for this annoyance?

If you tell them to take you off their call list they are violating the law. I would contact the FTC and Attorney General. The Attorney General has to help you since this is effecting more than a small amount of ppl. They need to earn their money they are paid by tax payers.

Another Lower Interest robocall.  I've gotten these calls for several years.  I've logged over 100 different caller ID numbers, but they persist with a different caller ID number or two about once a month.  I have programmed my computer to answer when they reuse a previous number and play "out of service" message.

These cockroaches STILL call with almost the same recorded message and the same rudeness when there's a person.   With ALL the forensic tools they show on TV's NCIS, Law and Order, and other cop shows you'd think the government  could home in on these scammers and shut them down.  If they are outside the US, send in a DRONE to knock them on their [***].
