I got a call from 516-453-2286 on March 7, 2017 at 12:42 pm, about the time telemarketers start calling.  I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Out of area," usually a sure sign of a telemarketer.  Don't legitimate businesses use their real name for their caller ID?  I would think so.  And don't they leave a message if it is a legitimate business call?  Again, I would think so.  I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years.  I guess this waste-of-time dealing with telemarketers will never end.
