I've been texting back and forth with this number about a job and it seems like it's turning out to be a scam. :/

This number said they found me through care.com and wanted me to watch there 3 year old. Said they were moving into my neighborhood and even gave the street address with the house that had a sold sign on it. They mailed me a check to get groceries for them before they move in and my account got frozen bc the check was fraudulent. I told it it was a fake check and they never responded. Be careful and do not trust these people

Found me through care.com saying that his 85 year old mother was moving to the area and needed a caregiver. Gave me street address of home and everything. Sent txt messages and emails back and forth. The name "he" gave me was Peter Milano. Sent me a check to use to buy the things they needed before they came. Check came from a construction business in Florida. After I received the check and deposited it he asked me to buy iTunes gift cards and send the codes via txt message. When I refused to do that because the check had yet to clear at my bank he got nasty with me threatening to report the check as stolen. Scam scam scam!!!!

Did you really deposit it?
If so, it will bounce.
If you spent money from your account, you will have a nasty surprise and maybe a NSF fee.

Bring the bad check and the envelope in which it came to your postal authorities.
