Caller stated he is from Microsoft (X-Silver) (I do not believe him) and did work on my laptop 9 months ago.  Added that my payment never went through, and that he needs to collect that payment.

I countered if my payment never went through, the work should not have been started in the first place -- work, meaning, wiping out computer viruses, etc.

I asked which card did you try to charge back in July of 2012,  He could not tell me.  He wanted me to give him my charge card information.  This guy must think I am an idiot.  Then he stated, you can go down to one of our shops and pay there, and I will give our information to you.

I added why are you calling me 9 months later.  Anyway, I do not trust them.

I received the same type of call from 515-897-7018.  They said I called them yesterday and left a voice mail (which I had not).  Wanted my name and I would not give it to them.  They said they were Law Offices 247 Tech Help/Credit Union/Credit Bureau.  I'm sure this is a scam.  I am going to report to the FBI. I'm sure some people will fall for this if they are not stopped.
