Some type of scam....a man named Mark Jacobs made an unsolicited call to our house, trying to sell something. I am on Do Not Call list so this caller broke the law.

Got a recorded message from some guy wanting me to join his team. What team is this and why is he harassing me with a phone call?  Creepy   Caller ID said Mark Jacobs

I believe this would be Mark Jacobs who is running for the US Senate. I just got a call and the caller id only said "Des Moines, IA" so I looked it up here. I recognized his name so that's why I looked further. Political campaigns don't have to adhere to the 'Do Not Call' registry and get their information from voter registrations, which are public information. It's possible you could have your phone number removed from the record, but I'm not sure how you would go about it. Living in Iowa, I'm very used to campaign calls, it's one of the joys of living here. :-)
