My mother received a call. Caller left message indicating her credit card had been suspended and to call the number listed. She called received an automated message requesting ccinfo. Thankfully she hung up and called me (her son) I called the number. the automated operator asked for the 16 digit cc #, eperation date and PIN #. I entered numbers that could not possibly represent an actual credit card (I began the 16 didgit number with a "1" then used random numbers. At the end, the automated voice said my card was re-activated! Its a miracle. I did it twice with eaqually ridiculas numbers and was "reactivated" each time

BTW- I have her registered on a do not call list and she still gets scam calls.

I have received numerous calls from this # for the past two days.  Caller ID shows "Unknown Caller".  The automated voice states they are calling from Sun East Credit Union and that our card has been suspended (we have no dealings with Sun East).  The voice requests we get in touch with the security department ASAP at the above number.  I returned the called - got a machine stating "you have reached FreeDigits.com, get your free phone service at FreeDigits.com" then disconnects.
I am on a Do Not Call List but have received these calls.

This is a scam run by a calling firm.
- The scam that I received redirects you to companies called FreeDigits.com  and  Talkdigits.com
- Both of these appear to be scams to get credit card information

- There is no stopping them - they hide behind anonymity and a parasites
- I get at least three calls a day and they are always blocked numbers

- They represent the lowest of mankind, but there is nothing to be done. I tried various FCC sites and phone numbers, but help is not available

I am getting so pissed off with these phone calls there has got to be something we can do...same thing as above my card has been deactivated, I did the same as Phil from Philly. I have also tried to send a text right back and I received MAILER DEMON.  They are coming thru on my cell phone as a text message for a week now same time every evening. ANYONE PLEASE HELP.
