Caller ID Allegedly Reads: Wells Fargo. I say allegedly because if it is Wells Fargo, why do they not leave a message or speak?

They call all hours and NEVER leave a message. Called a few minutes ago, I said hello. Guess he/she/it was very confused as he/she/it said nothing and hung up. No doubt a SCUMBAG. Death to the SCUMBAGS!

I have had my current number for over 10 years.  This is not a debt collector it is a telemarketer.  Also if anyone calls and I get no response when I say hello i don't sit on the phone and hope that someone will be there in a minute.  That is borderline retardation.  If a company calls, there very well better be someone on the other end when the potential customer answers.  I highly suspect you work this company and are attempting some sort of damage control.

I am a part time care giver for an elderly Alzheimer patient.  Anytime there is a telemarketer call at his home I let them speak to him.  He does not know who he is talking to but he does enjoy it.  Most of the time he thinks he is speaking to someone he used to know.  This totally wastes the telemarketers time and entertains both me and him.

Finally decided to answer it. Turns out is was from Wells Fargo regarding a payment I needed to make because the automatic payments I had set up had run out (they only let you do 6 months at a time!!!). Even though I was rather short with the rep at first, I came to realize this call was a service to help me get back on track with my payments. He was courteous to me the whole time, even while I was being somewhat rude to him at first.
By the way, he said they only would have left a message if I hadn't answered the morning call and they had called back later in the day (after 11 a.m.). Not sure I understand that, but that's what he said.

I was calling to tell you that while my executives are getting millions, we have to fire 200 people.

This is an outsourced collection agency which breaks the laws any way it can! They are not Wells Fargo but contacted by them.

It is against the law to:

1. call more than once a day
2. call at work
3. call on your cell phone
4. call before 8 AM or after 9pm

Save a record of your phone calls, file a complaint and take them to court, sometimes you can do that with your local tv station and on the internet.

The state fines run from $7T to $14T plus what you will receive in your pocket.
