Called twice left message stating there is a pending case against me.  States if I don't call back they will file a case with me waving my rights.  Yeah right! Don't answer the phone

I get a call from every state 1 time a month. I'm over dumbass people.

Yes received a message two days ago and now a phone call. I answered and said WHATEVER and hung up. Scam
Have a case against me....

Call claims to be from a White and Associates claim that they represent a client regarding an overdue payday loan.  I am filing a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and am represented by legal counsel.  The person on the end of the line refused to take the name and contact information of my attorney.  That is a violation of the Fair Debt Collections Act.  Once I tell them I've got counsel, they have to talk with my counsel- not me.  Given the fact that they suddenly hung up on me after that (and claimed that I never notified their client of my legal representation and Chapter 7 Status- when I had notified all creditors via Certified Mail), and reading some of the other responses here, I believe that this is a scam.  They're hoping that someone will panic and pay them. I'm not doing it.

I just got one yesterday!! He said his name was Leslie and left a voicemail. So weird!!
