keeps calling.  I accidently answered yesterday at 10:31 am.  Lady said I had cancelled my internet account.  But owed money.  I  have no  recollection of this company.  Telemarketer I would guess.  I asked her for the internet address to see what she was talking about but she would not give it to me.   She said she would investigate and get back to me  in a couple of hours. Did not get back to me until 2:19pm 10/07/14.  I did not answer today.

Got a call from this number reporting to be a Valerie Adams from 411 YP this morning claiming that our business advertising was up for renewal and we owed $699 for the past 2 years of advertising. I never heard of this company and did not agree to have any advertisement through them. I asked for more information about the apparent agreement. and she stated she would have to have one of the managers call me back with the details because she only worked in Accounts Payable. I have not heard anything yet.

Same deal. YP advertising. They claimed to have an audio recording of one of our employees, who is not authorized to enter into contracts, agreeing to a contract. She told the rep that the board of directors had to approve all invoices and contracts. Now they are repeatedly calling claiming we owe $699 for advertising. We are a government agency who does not need advertising. When I spoke to the rep and asked to speak to his supervisor, he claimed to be the supervisor. He was angry and aggressive and claimed that I could ONLY deal with him and no one else. After I hung up the phone, he called again and did not speak, but began playing a recording of our employee so I hung up again. If you agree to anything, even just to see more information, they claim to have you in a "contract" and you now owe them money. Stay away and do NOT answer the phone.

I got the same as the other people claiming that I agreed to an internet add, I thought they were my yellow page provider.  Now they are clamming that I owe Them $699.99 and I have to change the security on my cards for international settings. I will not I also asked for a paper invoice so I could see what I supposed agreed to.  they told me they do not send out paper. They have been rude to me too. I spoke to my bank they also said they thought it sounds like a scam. The real yellow pages said they thought it was not them and to be very careful who we as small business people talk to. I also filled a complaint with the Attorney General from my state.

We just received a call today from this phone number claiming we are due for our renewal August 3rd and that they got our letter to cancel.  They claim to be YP.MOBILE. Because we recently sent a cancelation letter to Yp.com I thought it was them calling. They wanted address to send cancellation paperwork to us. I told them to mail to address on letter.  They got "Jason "  on the phone to confirm we are cancelling.  I firmly told him we are not paying for advertising anymore and my letter dated June 19th is sufficient for cancelation.  I was still under impression that I was talking with Yp.com.  Jason then states we are liable for the invoice amount due of $699. 00. I stated I am not paying Anything and they can send all the invoices they want but we canceled in June. He tried to give me a bargain of $400. I began to realize I wasn't dealing with Yp.com. I asked Jason for signed proof of our supposed contract with yp.mobile. he claims it was a voice recorded "yes" on the phone in August 2014. He also claimed we were given a "complimentary " 6 months last year and we are due for renewal August 3rd. I demanded he provide his so called proof. He didn't have it available but they will give it to the attorney and threatened me with sending us to collection.  That didn't help diffuse the situation,  I got angry and told him off. I demanded the cancelation paperwork they claim they are mailing and hung up. Funny thing about this,  they knew our names when they called. Since I don't have an address for YP mobile,  not sure if I can file complaint with Atty general.  I tried filing in past on a company and it was rejected due to I didn't have the address for that company.
