Got a call friday morning. The unknown caller stayed on the line after i repeatedly said "Hello" and hung up. Who gets a Montreal number starting with 200? Is it possible to get a calling card or a computer program with this number? I have been getting anonymous calls for years and all with weird numbers which were of course untracable.

My partner was traveling in the UK recently, and she used our calling card to call home to Canada. That number must have been the Bell Canada overseas operator. Of course, that doesn't help with who the caller might have been...

514-200-00xx are the numbers generated from the equipment that Canada Direct calls from outside Canada.  This is the CLID that is deliverd to the receiving number.

541-200-3338 - I get a call every day.  I've sent a complaint, added my number to the "Do Not Call" list and I still get calls every day.  And the funny thing is "Press 9" for remove from list does not work and when you keep the attendant on the line long enough, they end up hanging up on me.  Does anyone know how to report or stop these calls??
