I am a realtor, and I got this e/mail through my website

Hello i am interested in your property i will like you to please send me more information about this property as i intend to pay as soon as possible.
Andrew.

it also included an e/mail address that included 'single dad' in it... I googled the name and the statement 'intend to pay' and up this guy popped up as an underwater sculpturer and other things via Craigslist... just a head's up...

Sounds like a rental scam. Keep an eye online for the property address to show up on Craigslist or Kijiji as available for rent. Usual foreign criminal posing as out-of-town owner wants cash send via wire transfer for keys. Craigslist is full of them.

same message in my Realtor email account

I am also an agent and got the same email. I did follow up by sending back an email and LM for him just for fun. I could tell in the wording it was a scam. Never got anything back from him though.
