Just got a call from Richard? and he provided me with his Badge # said he was from the IRS.  Wanted me to provide my Social Security Number.  I did not.  I verified that he had our correct last 4 Digits.  He asked to confirm our address.  He had a lot of data regarding an Amended Return from 2013 - sounded very legitimate.  He called back again, a short time later, to say our Accountant was listed as a Preparer only and not authorized to speak to IRS on our behalf.  OF NOTE:  He did NOT provide me with his Badge # this time - IRS ALWAYS PROVIDES BADGE NUMBERS, NO MATTER HOW OFTEN YOU SPEAK WITH THEM.

I told him I'd contact our Accountant to verify and we would straighten out any details that were necessary.  He said Okay.

She spoke spanish to me and said she was from the irs and she knew my husband's name and mine. Then asked me to give her my full name and snn and home address. Of course I didn't  then I asked me if by any chance she also need my bank account. Lol stupid people.

Pamela Ruark from 5128144280. She wanted a copy of my recent tax return. Said it had been lost. She had information about other things that concerns me. She's good. Be Careful. This person exists. I wonder if they were using her name.
