A call from Victoria Hernandez. Staying she was with Department of Law and Fraud, Economic complaint unit?? She first phoned a family member that I rarely see, once I called her back to tell them this was harassment and I have no fraudulent activity, I would have my attorney contact them. She placed me on hold, a guy came on the phone and was very rude and defensive. I hung up, this is obviously a bill collector or a scam. Regardless of the case, this is not how consumers should be talked to or harassed.

My mother was contacted who lives in Dallas by a "Melinda Clark" from the fraud and economic unit stating she needed to get a hold of my boyfriends father. Left a case number too. When I called her she gave her name as "Miranda Clark" and was very unprofessional from the start. Luckily I had read peoples similar claims before calling and when I told her I thought this was a scam she told me "Well Its your choice to pass on the message to Mr.***** or not. but If he doesn't contact this office I will mark his case as un-compliant and we will pursue legal action." I asked what exactly that meant and she said the case would be forwarded to the State Attorneys office. I asked for that number and she refused to give it to me. TOTAL SCAM! if they want to pursue legal action LET THEM. wait for some type of certified mail and go from there but NEVER give into these people over the phone.
