Left message on my answering machine that the IRS would be putting a lien on my name.  ???  Scam of some type.  Did not return the call.

This scam  never give no information out these are scammers that Try to scare people with cops saying they will be arrested I just got  a call and I knew it was a scam don't let these scammers bully u into paying money .people need to call the cops on them if not they will scam some one else call your mayor office. Wes papper any thing to fight back.

Got a call saying it was Officer James Brown from the tax collection department of the IRS and that they were going to put a tax lien on my name if I didn't call them back.  I'm assuming this is a scam.  The IRS has my address and I've gotten no notifications by mail.  I won't be calling back.

Talking too fast to understand most of the recorded conversation, but they mentioned IRS and tax lien and gave me this number saying call them asap.  This is the second phone call I've received about this.  First one was from Colton, WA.  Reported this to IRS fraud division (TIGTA.gov).

I got a call like the others reported.  I was to call or they we're going to place a tax lein on m.  name.  I couldn't understand him but I think I was to have tax info ready which I'm sure meant my SS#.
I didn't call back since I was sure it was a scam.
