called me 2:54 pm and never left a message, I called them to see who it might be, and when I said you called my number, wanted to know who this was. they just hung up the phone. Scam, they probably want to see if your home, and if you don't answer they can come and rob your house.

it's Verizon

It's Verizon. No scam, no one trying to see if you're home so they can rob you.  It's an automated message retrieval service.  You type in your zip code - then the message will tell you your account is past due.  You don't talk to a customer service rep, it's just an automated voice recording.
