We got a call from this number today at 11:25 am and didn't answer. The caller ID was SHREWSBURY MA. A voicemail message was left regarding lowering our bill for electricity. This is a new number for these lowlifes. When I called back (our number is hidden by default on outgoing messages) I heard a recording which said "Press 9 to be put on the do not call list." The number will be added to our call blocker.

this is a fresh number for these freaks.  It's the old electric company scam from an "alternate" provider.  It's a call directly in violation of the DNC.  Nobody in my home is going to be spending any time on the phone with the clowns.

Got a call from this number (came up as Springfield, MA). I don't know anybody named "Springfield, MA" so I didn't answer. While I was logged onto my phone privers website blocking the number, I got notification of a voicemail. The voicemail was the same garbage I have heard in the past regarding lowering my electricity bill if it was over $150. dollars (press 1 to speak to a crook) or press 3 to be removed from any future calls. I have pressed 3 in the past and gotten a successful removal acknowledgement. Apparently remove and remove now have alternate meanings.
