I have had several messages from different voices claiming to be the Better Business Bureau, apparently in the Fall River, MA area. I have no reason to be doing any business with them and in fact live a good four hours away in another state. They leave a message but do not state their business. I strongly suspect that the "BBB" is a cover for a scammer - not really the Better Business Bureau except maybe for their illegal business interests.

Also received this call today. Said that they were looking to list us under their "Ethical Business" listing. Asked to speak to business owner. When I put them on hold they hung up. Definitely seemed suspicious.

I just received this phone call and I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. They left a message saying her name was allison with the Better Business Bureau. She didn't mention what state she is representing. I called the number back and she answered. I said someone just called my phone from this number and she just said sorry and hung up on me. it sounds like some sort of scam or something....

I got a message from the above number and they said it was the Better Business Bureau as well.  I name was also Allison the first time I called back as I heard was a quick click after it sounded like someone answers and a beep. the second time I got a voicemail claiming that it was Allison from the Better Business Bureau I find it odd somebody to use the first name and have a local phone number   I also felt like it was a scam.
