Was called saying the Warranty on my car would be expiring, and this was the "second notice" and also the "last chance" to get my warranty renewed. They asked for my name, address, car, license plate, and mileage to "forward it to the warranty company who would have it renewed". I was at work and didn't want to get into a long conversation on my cellphone, so I asked for the phone number of the warranty company so that I could call them myself. They claimed they didn't have the number and claimed they were using an automated system. When I pressed for the warranty company's information they said "we'll just have another associate call you later" and quickly hung up.

Missed call from this #, no VM left and when I tried to call back message says that number has been disconnected.

Just got the call on my new Alltel business cell number.  I was on the land line and didn't pick up.  No VM.  Returned call said number has been disconnected.  Google says it belongs to one R. Mitson in MA.
