Yeah, I got two of those calls last night. I didn't pick up, but strongly suspect it's a spoofed number.

Caller-ID shows "Dir Assist MA", with phone number of 508-555-1212. When my answering machine picked up the call, other end disconnected. Similar to posting about 973-555-1212 elsewhere on this site.

Just got one of these; hang-up after 20 seconds of dead air. Since it's supposed to be (508)'s directory assistance, I imagine it's a spoofed return for a predictive dialer robocall. This should stop after next Tuesday.

Came home today and saw this number on the caller ID. I always refer to the post before calling...so again, thanks everyone for the heads up. I won't be returning call.
