This number belongs to Capital Recovery Systems.  They started calling me at 4AM from a block cell number.  Then they started calling my home phone number.  I then returned the call - they were looking for my son. They were rude, argumentative and complete jerks.  I tried toprovide an address where they could send information for my son, but they would not take it, I offered on more time and then I hung up.  They continued to call my cell number.  I called back and demanded the name of the company and the address, so I could send a certified letter advising them to cease calling any numbers owned by me.  I explained that I was in the legal field and I would call the FBI - "James Logan" laughed!  I hung up, called my local FBI office, who in returned called the compnay, hence how I obtained the name of the company.  The are located in Franklin Mass.  The agent talked to them and they were "sincerely sorry"!  Right!!  They are in voilation of the Fair Debt Collection Act.  Please contact the office of the Attorney General for the STate of Mass.  You can also file a complaint at the Federal Trade Commission.  They must send you anything they are claiming that owe, proof that the debt is yours, signature of the contract, when, how and why.  You have the right to discovery before you are required to pay anything.  Also look up Capital Recovery Complaints and you will even get more of an earful of this companies debt collection practices.  They may be trying to collect debts which are no longer valide because the statute of limitations has expired.  Good Luck!
