This number just called me and when i called them back they asked for my attorneys name and phone number. When i asked who they were with the guy called me a dumb [***] and said they were having the police come to my house and arrest me. I asked again who he was with and he hung up on me
I called back and the guy again asked for the number they called and i gave them my number so the guy called me a [***] again and asked if i would help him with phone sex. Highlight of my day

Called cell phone three times in one minute.  Didn't answer.

This people called me yesterday leaving a threatening message saying that if I didn't call him back he would send the police on my street or workplace and talk to my supervisor.  Yesterday they called from a 903-965-6203 and today was from a 508-463-0714.  Today when I asked him what he want he started telling me that they were going to press charges on me for theft, that he was going to send the police my to my job and that the company decided to do not pursue me to pay the debt but put it as charged off and press charges for theft. When I asked him from what state he was calling he wouldn't say after I asked three times.  He  told me I will read this affidavit to you and then you will ask what are your option.  I asked how much was that debt he wouldn't told me saying that because they were not trying to get the money he didn't have the information then he said $352.00.  I even asked him from when was the debt and he wouldn't tell me.  I told him that if he was calling from a law firm like he said he should know that by federal and state law is illegal what he was doing and that by law if he have the nerve to call me he have to have all the information about this matter.  Then I told him to mail me all the documents and once I have all the information that I need and that by law he have to provide then he can call me and ask from money and in the meanwhile stop calling me or my job.  He told me to get a lawyer a really good one then because I was going to be sued.   I just had it and hang up.

Yes these people are running a scam. They just left a message on my phone as well, stating, Call back in the next 45 min., and if they don't here back from me or my attorney within 45 mins then I will be in some serious trouble. Funny thing is I am really in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy right now. So I called them back. Took me a moment to get through but they answered and stated with the your in big trouble crap. Then I said well wait a moment I do have an attorney, here is the number and here is my case # for my filing of chapter 13. He was shocked,and replied, Oh you have an attorney. He paused then I said well let me give you the number and he wasn't even righting it down. But I cellphone carrier did give me a good rule of thumb,because one time I tried to call them back and I got the recording that verizon gives to let you know this call is out of range, and charges will be reflected. Verizon said that the calls were from overseas, via like the internet they set up USA numbers, but the call still has to be transmitted from out of country satt. So they told me the next time I get a call from them or any other thing that sounds like a scam, to atttempt to text it back. A text will not go through on a landline, it will bump back to your cell and let you know that it is a landline first, but it will via the internet/cell towers. I tried what they said and it was true. the text went through. I still reported the number and call to the FTC, but just use that trick for any future calls.

I have had the same calls from 508-463-0714,also 317-495-3707 and more numbers, But what I did was had my lawyer call them and they hung up on him. report them to the state attorney's office of the state of the area code. That is what i am doing.
