I have received 3 calls on my cell phone from someone with a heavy accent - could hardly understand what he was saying.  I believe he was telling me I won a big prize and need to schedule an appointment to pick it up.  They are supposedly calling from a landline in Falmouth.  My feeling is that it's a timeshare and they're trying to get people down there to try and sell them a timeshare.  Very annoying.

Guy with heavy accent called from 508-970-5999 gave it to me to call ... same deal some promotion I won. in Mansfield MA? I don't know.

7:15pm Person (female?) with heavy accent called on my cell which I would not have listed on a promotion.  Same deal:  some promotion I won.  Number that showed up on my cell was:  202-239-6000, which reverse look up seems to be a cell phone in District of Columbia.  One of 4 big prizes I was told - just have to pick it up.  heavy accent, heard big TV....Have to show up at ....ended up being an address in Portland, Maine which would be closer to my area (a Suite # was given.  Also said it was "Festiva Club". The person on the line had to finally hand the phone over to a male who could speak a little better English so I could write the address down where to "collect" the prize.  I asked what kind of ceremony or gimmick or cost.  He said first you have complimentary refreshments, then hor'eurves and you would be handed a piece of paper that would say which of the 4 prizes you've won to collect your prize.  Oh yes, you need 2 ID's with your partner, a photo ID such as driver's license and another ID such as a "credit Card" to prove who you are.

prizes, TV; $2,500 gift certificate,...free giveaway.  It's a promotion from sponsor TOSHIBA New Orleans he said.  Entry would have been completed around Christmas he said.  

Then he wanted to give me 3 choices of days and times for the "ceremony", 5:45PM; 7:15PM

I asked if I could have a phone # to call back and he said ask for JAMES, 508-299-7404

Did more internet research.  It is a Travel promotion company.  Same rules for a couple to listen to a speel for 1 1/2 hours.  No debit cards allowed.  must have a credit card with you and photo ID's and your partner, fiancee or spouse.  

Name goes under:  Festiva Adventures; Festiva Club adventures; Festiva Resorts...
New Orleans, LA; FL; Portland, ME   Promotions; travel, cruises.  Carnival promotions.  

Rules sound very similar to a "time share" promotion.  There's no way my partner will sit through something to get one of the 4 prizes (top prize being a 2011 Ford Explorer.

I got the same phone call with exact prizes information. This is a scam base on my own opinion. They are going to make you sit there for 90 minutes so they can talk about the time share or their clubs. There is no possible way they can give all the free goodies to everyone. There is nothing free in this world. The weirdest thing is that my zip code is 504, but I received a call from 508-299-7403 claiming that they are in the local office area. How bizarre !. I am not going to sit there for 90 minutes for some BS. They got me excited for nothing.
