I received a call from 508-281-7600 @ 2:53 Pm on 06 Feb 2012. I was not able to answer the phone due to the fact (1) I was asleep and (2) upon rousing I must not hurry since I have balance problems due to a CVA (stroke) suffered in 2004. I cut on my computer and found this web site I am using right now and discovered much of what I know about this spoofed call ID number. I will put this number on my Comcast call ID block and that will be the last I hear from these spammers or whatever they are for good. I also in reading one of your post have a feeling that they were calling for my father but he is not available since he was nifter (died) in 2008 and he did subscribe to some magazines during his lifetime.

Unsolicited call.  Called back and reached a Robin who stated that their caller ID had been hijacked.
She was very pleasant and apologized.  

Legitimate company who has fallen victim to scammers.

Vishing:
Typically attackers use a technique called caller ID spoofing to make it look like calls are coming from a legitimate or known phone number.
