This is a poorly run AMATEUR tele-scam rig. The "Louisiana" ( 504 area code ) location is spoofed; the actual call source is in Canada--so Do Not Call Registry can't touch them.....yet. "Amy" calls you using a malfunctioning headset ( oh, what are the odds of that?? ). She goes on to say YOU recently stayed at one of "our resorts" ( she never tells you an exact name....remember: malfunctioning headset!! ) and goes on to claim YOU qualify for yet another dream resort vacation---complete with totally free car rental!! Ask what resort company "Amy" represents---and listen to her totally ignore your question and continue reading her "script cards". This is about where you should simply hang up and let "Amy" go--because she's going to try and get some "information about you before switching you to a representative" ( information you DON'T release openly to scammer con artists ). Remember calls from 1-504-784-6459---and let your voicemail / answering machine system handle them; it's way safer that way. MAJOR TIP: If you record your voicemail greeting---leave personal names OUT of it; legit calls know they're calling you---scammers on the other hand, are TRYING to know you.
