I have the Blacklist App on my smartphone. This 504-230-0046 showed up on my phone's Call List as having got a call this morning. I used a landline and dialed it back, using *67 to Call Block my number first.
THIS NUMBER IS FROM A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE. When I called, I got a "bloop" sound and then someone answered as "Auto Quotes". I called it back two more times using *67 - one time it answered as "hello" and the third time it answered as "this is Matt calling from First Choice Auto Quotes".
Any time you hear that "bloop" sound , it's a bunch of felon criminals trying to scam you out of your social security number and birthdate, plus credit card numbers.
And if you are dumb enough to answer a call from a number you dont recognize, then you deserve to have your phone hacked and your number sold to other criminal phishing scammers.
