She called three times in rapid succession - about two minutes apart. I answered on the third call. SHe started out saying she was not a recording and asked if I could hear her. I said yes. She then went on to say she was from a cruise line looking for customers . . blah blah. I tried to interrupt her politely and say I wasn't interested but she continued on without missing a beat. I kept trying to interrupt and she kept right on talking. That's when I became impolite and yelled at her not to call again and hung u (oh how I miss being able to slam down the phone like we could do in the old days). This is the second call like this I have received in the past couple weeks although I didn't note the number from the first call. This is a new marketing technique, no doubt - talk 'em to death. Next time I will just lay the phone down and let her talk until she figures out nobody is listening or, if I'm not busy, let her talk then ask a bunch of dumb questions just to use as much of her time as possible until she figures out SHE is the one being scammed.
