10/17/07  7:20 pm.  "Unknown" caller dialed me.  Did not answer, no message left.

Same: When I called back got an answering machine in a man's voice that just said 'Please leave your name and number at the tone."

FOLLOWUP:  Man called again, knew my name, and I didn't acknowledge it--he pressed on and I said who are you?  And he said Adrian from something Capital, and I said what the [***] do you want?  He asked again if I was the person he was tring to reach and I again said 'what the [***] do you want?"  Very shady, and I told him to [***] off.
He called back and said something about me living in an apartment--he must be a mortgage predator or some [***]--have no idea how he got my number.  Gonna find him and give him an old fahioned beat-down.
