Answered call no answer, hung up on me right away? Computer generated calling maybe? I called the number back and got a message "connecting you now" Then nothing.

I've gotten 3 or 4 calls from that number, spaced a day or two apart.  Caller ID always shows Maple Star. I called the number and the robot said "Wait while we try to connect you" (which sounds a lot like the greeting message that the free Google Voice uses).  After perhaps 20 seconds it said "We cannot connect you to extension seven zero zero zero zero" and it hung up.

Got two calls so far. Caller ID says Maple Star. Answer it and it's just a busy signal.

I have had problems with fake type collectors pulling old stuff off credit reports. I believe this number is one of those groups. I have had same experiences as others...however one time I called back the number meaning to call a work contact. When I asked for Mrs carter (example name) the KNEW my first name and said to hold and they would put me through. I help for about 4 min and hung up......watch out for these guys, I really doubt they are legit...

called four times over a course of weeks didn't leave message...then finally got a harrassing spammer message "hello I have a report on my desk regarding...."
