+7 on the end. So it was an 11 digit number. It was automated and stated that my MasterCard had a hold on it, and to press 1. I pressed 1, then it asked to put in my 16 digit card number. At that point I realized they were phishing for my credit card number so they could use it fraudulently. I was surprised that it was not from an 800 number, but instead a number that appears to be from my own area code.

Received call from the above number this am staying to be MasterCard. Said acct was locked and needed to respond. SCAM!!!!!!

My non card holding 15 year old got call. He didn't answer but how annoying making it look like local number.

Same as others, claim my mastercard debit has a hold. I don't have a master debit, just visa.

Same thing happened to me, wanted me to push 1 to speak with their security dept.! Unreal!
