Got a call from this number today and they left a voice mail stating that if I don't return the call I will have to face the legal consequences. Whatever!!! I called it back from a landline and some Indian speaking dude answered but I couldn't understand him so I hung up. I have now blocked this number.

Got a recorded call stating that I needed my attorney to call their number immediately or I would have to face the legal consequences.  Who wastes their time with this nonsense.  The IRS would send written notice of a problem, not have a recording call you.

Scamming has to stop!  Says I need an attorney Involved in lawsuit with IRS etc.   I have an aging mother that does answer phone at times and she just might fall for this nonsense. 4/24/2017  # 502-234-9229. Frankfort Ky.       7:10 pm

Call from this number twice saying if I don't return the call I'll have to face legal consequences.  What can be done about these calls?  Can they be prosecuted for impersonating?

Good luck with that--they are *%{* scamming foreigners that aren't subject to U.S. laws.
