Person had a VERY heavy Indian accent and was difficult to understand. He kept acting like he didn't hear me. He said he was from some technical department. Probably Windows Technical Dept. as the poster above stated. I told him I was having a hard time understanding him he asked me if I had a computer. Then he started saying "Hello" again. I hung up on him.

It's the second time I get a call like this. I hung up on them the first time. But, this time I stayed on a little longer. He was very persistent and was almost frustrated when I wasn't where my "computer" was. Funny thing is, he called my HUSBAND'S phone number but it was MY computer that was infected...hmmm

Has called several times. Will call again if hung up on. Claims to have knowledge of my computer and that it needs service. When I said 'not interested' and 'don't call again', he said he would report to Microsoft that I should be disconnected or some such. Very intrusive and persistent.

They call often I stopped saying hello and they just hang up. Nuisance !!!
