Said he was David Mills with the Arkansas State Police and wanted to send information to collect donations for their fallen officers that were killed in the line of duty and their families.  Caller ID just gave a phone number so I believe this to be a telemarketer. Seems like if it was valid they would go through the local news etc.

I got a call from this number and as soon as I answer they hang up. My fiance has gotten phone calls from 501 numbers as well. When I call it back it acts like it is busy

I have been getting calls from this number. I tried to call back, but the number is always busy.

I want to be removed from their phone list!

Well, they're at it again... I didn't answer, no message left... will presume it's a scam.  I see where ladyelderturner had a caller ID as ASPA - Arkansas State Police Association.  If so, it's a fundraiser call center.  Going to block 'em anyway.
