Disabled Police group.  Possible scam? Dunno?

Thank you for the information.  I always feel guilty when I tell them no.  Please don't get me wrong - my husband and I do support charities, but only ones we are familiar with and WANT to help (Meals on Wheels, Humane Society, etc.).

The frauds count on your guilt to loosen your purse. There is no shame in turning away an alleged cause group you cannot verify which hires a call center to read you scripted lies. If anyone should feel guilt it's the alleged charities and their commercial fundraisers who pile up your earnest donations to finance mainly their own lavish parties, luxury cars, summer McMansions, kitchen makeovers, sports arenas, and of course call center expansions.

I get one or two calls a day from disabled police with two different phone #s. They never leave a message. I never answer these phone calls.
